Terms of Service
Effective August 8, 2026
These terms cover vendors who use Live Impressions to run events and sell photo products. If you bought a magnet from a vendor, that purchase is with the vendor — their own terms apply to it.
1. Who we are and who these terms cover
Live Impressions is a product of Coastal Impressions Co., a Wyoming limited liability company (“we,” “us”). These terms are an agreement between us and the business that opens an account to sell photo products (the “vendor,” “you”).
People who buy from a vendor's storefront (“guests”) are the vendor's customers, not ours. A guest's purchase is a contract between the guest and the vendor: the vendor sets prices, makes the product, and fulfills the order. We provide the software both sides use.
2. What the service does
Live Impressions is software for running a photo-product business: QR-code event storefronts, an always-on web store (standalone or embedded in your own site), guest photo upload and editing, a live order board, production-ready print files, a customer list, coupons, campaigns, reports, and an optional hosted marketing website on paid plans.
The Pro plan includes a custom website designed and built for your business at no extra charge. Build work begins after your first standard subscription payment — a promotional first month (such as a launch offer priced below the regular rate) doesn't start the build window — and the site typically launches within 30 days of that payment.
The service is in active development. Features may be added, changed, or removed; where a change removes something you actively use, we'll make reasonable efforts to tell you in advance through in-app announcements.
3. Accounts, invites, and staff seats
While signup is invite-gated (as during our beta), creating an account requires an invite code or an equipment partner code. Each business account has one owner, who controls billing, the team, and the account's data. Paid plans may include staff seats; the owner is responsible for what anyone does under the account's access.
Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, and tell us promptly at hello@liveimpressions.co if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Plans, billing, and cancellation
Plans: Free, Solo ($29/month or $290/year), and Pro ($99/month or $990/year) — annual billing includes two months free. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel any time from Settings → Plan; paid features continue to the end of the period you've paid for, then the account moves to the Free plan.
If a renewal payment fails, we retry and email you. After a grace period, paid-tier features pause (the account behaves as Free) until payment is fixed. Nothing is deleted because of a failed payment — your orders, customers, and products stay put.
Some accounts hold special grants: founding-maker lifetime plans, permanent percentage discounts, and equipment-partner trials (a 45-day Pro trial with a card on file, and a permanent 15% discount on conversion). Grants apply to the account they were issued to and aren't transferable.
Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or we agree in writing. If we get something materially wrong, write to us — we'd rather fix it than argue about it.
5. Platform fees on sales
On the Free plan we charge a platform fee of 2% + $0.20 on each card transaction your storefront processes, collected automatically through Stripe and shown transparently on the order's detail page. Solo and Pro carry a 0% platform fee. Stripe's own card-processing fees apply on every plan and are set and charged by Stripe, not us. Routing sales around the platform to avoid a fee that applies to your plan is a breach of these terms.
6. Payments and payouts
Card payments from your guests are processed by Stripe as direct charges that settle to your own connected Stripe account — we never hold your funds. You are the merchant of record for your sales: payouts, refunds, chargebacks, and disputes with your guests run through your Stripe account under Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.
Pay-at-booth orders are transactions you take yourself; the software only records them. Taxes on your sales are your responsibility — the rate applied at checkout is the one you configure.
7. Your content and your customers
Your product catalog, branding, storefront copy, customer list, and order data belong to you. You can export your customer list at any time, and it leaves with you if you go. You grant us the limited license needed to run the service — hosting your content, showing it on your storefronts, and generating your print files. We claim no other rights in it.
If you share a product to the community library, you grant other vendors the right to copy that listing (its template, packaging, and suggested pricing — never your customers or orders) into their own catalogs.
8. Guest photos
Guests upload photos so you can print them, and confirm they have the right to use what they upload. Photos are for fulfilling that guest's order: don't print material you know infringes someone's rights, and don't reuse a guest's photo for your own marketing without their separate consent. We process photos only to provide the service — storage, the editing preview, print-file generation — and never for advertising, profiling, or training AI models.
Original photos are deleted on a schedule (generally 90 days after the order is placed), as described in the privacy policy. Order records survive; the pictures don't.
9. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully. Don't use it to sell anything illegal, print material that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights, harass anyone, or message people who haven't consented. Don't resell platform access, probe or overload the service, or interfere with other vendors' data or the platform's security boundaries.
The built-in marketing tools only address customers who opted in, and every message carries an unsubscribe link. Working around those controls is a breach of these terms. Breaches can lead to suspension or termination under section 12.
10. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service up and fast — especially during live events — but we don't promise uninterrupted availability or offer an SLA. Planned maintenance lands outside typical event hours when we can manage it. Support runs through Help & feedback in the dashboard and hello@liveimpressions.co.
11. Warranties, liability, and indemnity
The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits or lost sales at an event. Our total liability for claims arising out of the service is capped at the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
You stand behind your own business: if a claim against us arises from your products, your sales, your content, or your breach of these terms, you'll defend and indemnify us against it. Nothing here limits liability that can't lawfully be limited.
12. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, unlawful use, or risk to the platform or other vendors — with notice and a chance to respond, except where the risk is immediate.
After closure your data is handled as the privacy policy describes: guest photos are deleted within 30 days, and you can export your customer list and records before you go.
13. Changes to these terms
We'll update these terms as the product grows. For material changes we give at least 14 days' notice by email and in-app announcement; continuing to use the service after the effective date accepts the change. The current version always lives at this page.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before any formal proceeding, both sides agree to try resolving the dispute informally by email first — most problems are fixable faster than they are litigable.
