we're open
live impressions is open to everyone. start free, no invite. through october 1 your first month of pro is 99 cents, or 15% off the first year on annual, applied by itself at checkout.
Payments your way, per event
- card or at the booth, card only, or booth only. booth-only makers put their venmo, zelle or cash line right on the payment step.
Duplicate a product
- one button beside Edit copies a product with its packages, sizes, add-ons, price bands and photos. rename, switch on, done.
One-photo bulk packs
- tick "one photo for the whole pack" on a package and the customer uploads once, pays once, and the print file carries every copy.
Puzzles in 4, 6, 9 or 12 tiles
- open the product, choose Puzzle, and the tile picker has all four.
Print without an order
- Print in the left menu takes your own photos, any mix of sizes, straight to a press sheet. sample sets, display boards, replacements, signage. nothing lands in your numbers.
- Layouts → Print stock still does copies of a single design.
Rounds print as rounds
- the corners outside the punch are painted out, so a round piece reads as the circle you'll actually cut, and the sorting label no longer sits where the press wraps it.
Photos, sized your way
- a third option in the photo editor, fill to the edge, takes the whole image right up to the cut line. no white border, nothing cropped.
Remove an event
- orders it took are kept; you get a clear warning when there are any.
Products sorted and grouped
- by category on your products page, sort by price or newest, and you set the order on the shelf.
Small things that were bugging you
- password reset works from any phone or browser.
- the order grid shows the crop as it will print.
- "Start your order here" on event pages.
- booth-pay wording no longer says "when you pick up".
Your call at the booth
Two days of launch-week fixes, all from your tickets: how guests pay is now your call per event, packs can be one photo, products copy in a click, and stock prints without an order.
Payments
- Every event now has a "How guests pay" setting: card or at the booth, card only, or at the booth only. Booth-only makers put their Venmo, Zelle or cash line right on the payment step.
- Checkout, the confirmation screen and the order email no longer tell booth-paying guests they pay "when you pick up". Payment is at the booth, in person, and your own instructions say when.
Products
- Duplicate a product: a Duplicate button beside Edit copies packages, sizes, add-ons, price bands and photos. The copy stays switched off until you've renamed it.
- One-photo bulk packs: tick "One photo for the whole pack" on any package and the customer uploads once, pays once, and the print file carries every copy.
- Puzzles come in 4, 6, 9 or 12 tiles.
- Keychains, prints, mirrors and bottle openers say what they are: the store no longer calls everything a magnet.
- Long descriptions fold with a Read more, so packages aren't pushed off the screen.
Printing
- Print stock without an order: Layouts → Print stock. Build inventory or test prints; nothing lands in Print history or your numbers.
- "Make default" on a sheet layout works for everyone again. It failed for some of you once a sheet had been renamed. That was our bug.
- If a print run fails part-way, it now tells you the orders already moved to production and where to download the file.
Guests
- The order grid shows the crop as it will print, not the original photo.
- Event page cards read "Start your order here".
- Forgot your password? There's a link on the login page now, and the reset works from any phone or browser.
Ready for Monday
Two weeks of fixes and finishes, almost all of them from your tickets, ahead of opening to the public on September 7.
Selling
- Your storefront and template website now sort products in the order you set. Storefront → Products: listed products sit at the top with up and down arrows.
- The Products page groups by category with a Sort by row (Category, Newest, A to Z).
- Packages can be reordered on a product, and they show in that order everywhere, including live event pages.
- You can leave us a review from Help & feedback, and you choose whether we may show it publicly with your business name.
- Storefront tabs: pick which tab shoppers land on, and hide the All tab if you only want your own two.
Printing
- Octagon templates print a real cut guide now: tick marks in the margin for each chamfer corner, or a pre-trimmed edge if you turn on Trim at cut line.
- Round templates cut cleanly at very small bleeds.
- Puzzle products show the tile grid in the guest editor before they order.
- Every piece's full footprint is outlined on the print sheet.
Orders
- Mark an order paid from the order page itself, not just the board.
- Events can be deleted. Orders they took stay in your history, labelled "Removed event".
Storefront honesty
- Paid plans are white-label: our tagline no longer prints on your store.
- A privacy link on every page a guest gives you a photo, a phone number or an address.
- A store's product list and your catalog are two different things, and the store page now says so when you go to open it.
Coming Monday
- We open to the public. Your founding 50% is locked for life once you pick a plan.
Nothing gets cut off
Customers can fit a whole design on a magnet instead of having its edges cropped, bookings have a page of their own, and templates can cut the corners off for wrap-style pieces. All three came from your tickets this week.
Show the whole image
- A round logo on a square magnet used to lose its sides. The photo editor now leads with the choice: Show the whole image, or Fill the magnet.
- Showing the whole image prints white edges instead of cropping — how a logo or a graphic fits a magnet uncropped.
- This was always possible; the buttons were buried under the zoom slider where nobody found them. That's on us.
A page for bookings
- Request a date now goes to a booking page on your own website, in your branding, with a calendar that only offers dates you're actually available.
- It was landing people on your shop page — our bug, introduced when we merged the shop and the website. Fixed.
- You can share that link on its own: yoursite/book.
Corner trim
- Templates can now cut the corners off at 45°, so the printed cut line is an octagon instead of a square.
- For wrap-style pieces where a printed margin folds around the shell — square corners bunch when they fold.
- Set it on any template. Leave it at 0 and nothing changes.
- Already there and worth knowing: border labels put your shop name, phone or website in that margin, so they end up on the magnet's edge.
One storefront, and add-ons that scale
Add-ons can now charge a percentage instead of a flat amount, so an upgrade costs more on a bigger item. Your website and your shop are one place now, not two. And your booking form keeps working even when your shop is closed.
Add-ons that scale with the price
- On any add-on, switch "$ amount" to "% of price" and type a number. A 15% paper upgrade costs $2.10 on a $14 item and $3.75 on a $25 one — set once, right on every size.
- You see what it costs as you type it: “Adds $0.30 on your $2.00 option, $3.00 on your $20.00 one.”
- Two 10% upgrades add 20%, not 21% — each takes its share of the product's price, so the order you list them in never changes the total.
- Flat-amount add-ons work exactly as before. Nothing you already set up has changed.
One storefront
- Your shop used to exist twice — once on your website and once on its own page, with different designs. Now there's one, on your site, with your branding all the way through checkout.
- Your short link still works and always will. It's for printing: a QR made from it scans better on a business card or booth sign, and it lands people on your storefront.
- The "Where to find us" tab is now called "Events" — clearer at a glance.
- If a page you switched on isn't showing, your Storefront page now tells you why and fixes it in one click.
Bookings
- Your booking form now works even while your shop is closed. Being booked for a wedding months out has nothing to do with whether online ordering is on today.
- Your Events page works with nothing on the calendar — it becomes where people request a date for their own occasion.
- Baby shower, graduation, retirement and anniversary joined the list of occasions.
Sell in your own currency
If you're outside the United States, you can now price in your own currency and take payouts to your own bank. Set your currency in Settings, connect Stripe in your own country, and your prices, your checkout, and your payouts all match.
Your currency
- Set your selling currency in Settings → Account. Australian dollars, Canadian dollars, pounds, euros, and 20 more.
- Everything follows it — the prices you type, your storefront, your customer's checkout and receipt, your reports, and your CSV exports.
- Set it before you build your catalog. It locks once you take your first order, because every saved price and past order is an amount in it — switching later would relabel your history instead of repricing it.
- Already selling in US dollars? Nothing changed for you.
Payouts in your country
- Payment setup now asks where your business is based and sets Stripe up there, so you get your own country's address, ID, and bank fields instead of a US form.
- Started in the wrong country and got stuck? Pick your real country and hit Resume onboarding — it starts fresh, no support ticket needed.
- Your customers are charged in your currency and Stripe pays your local bank, with no conversion in between.
- A few countries still aren't supported by Stripe for payouts. Booth payments and prepaid events work there as normal.
Also in this release
- Tickets are now marked "resolved" rather than "fixed" — it fits a question or a request as well as a bug.
- Invite emails link straight to signup, and the homepage has a "Got an invite code?" link for anyone holding one.
Checkout without codes
The 6-digit email code is gone. Customers check out with just their name and email, and wedding guests claim with only their name. Plus: remove products you no longer sell, give every product a photo gallery, and product descriptions your customers can actually read.
Checkout, without the code
- Customers no longer verify their email to order. Name, email, done — the email still gets their receipt and order updates.
- Wedding and party guests claim with just their name. Email is optional — if they add one, we send them a link to follow their order.
- Per-guest claim limits still hold (per email when they give one, per device when they don't), and your event's total cap is never exceeded.
- Returning customers can still verify their email to unlock your welcome-back discount, and your customer list now records which emails are verified.
Products
- Remove products you no longer sell. Products with order history are archived — their orders keep working, and you can restore them any time. Unused ones delete for good.
- Give every product up to 5 photos. Each size can carry its own set, and the first photo is the card image in your store.
- The description box now grows as you type (it was cutting text off on phones), and customers now see the full description when they open a product.
Fixes
- Your logo now shows at its true proportions in customer emails on phones — it was getting stretched. Fixed automatically for every existing logo.
Your logo, your paper
You can now put your logo (or a client's) exactly where you want it on every photo — drag it anywhere, size it, and see it live before anything prints. And you're no longer locked to one sheet: pick which paper a job prints on, set your default, and we'll tell you when a job would use less paper on a smaller sheet.
Logo on photos
- Drag the logo anywhere on the new live preview — no more picking from five corners. Top centre and bottom centre were added as quick presets too.
- The preview shows exactly how it lands on a printed piece as you adjust position, size, and strength. Screenshot it to get a client's approval before the event.
- Where it lives: Settings → Branding for every photo you print, or on an individual event for a host's crest. The event setting overrides your account one.
Printing on the right paper
- Pick the sheet a job prints on, right next to "Print all new". Your choice sticks for every print (including the Print button on each order) until you change it.
- Set your default sheet on the Layouts page — the sheet one-click printing uses.
- Paper saver: tick "I stock this paper" on your layouts and we'll flag when a job would use less paper on a smaller sheet — "1 sheet of 4×6 instead of 1 of US Letter, 74% less paper." Your call every time; nothing switches on its own, and it never suggests an option that means more sheets through the press.
Little things
- Prepaid events: leave the per-guest claim limit blank for no limit at all (the total event cap still applies if you set one).
- Clearer "this doesn't fit" messages that name the sheet instead of quoting millimetres.
Sell more than magnets
You can now sell ready-made items — frames, stickers, gift boxes, pre-designed magnets — right next to your custom photo products, with a "Ready to ship" tab on your store you can name yourself. One product can now come in every size you press, so your shelf shows one clean card instead of a near-duplicate per size. Prepaid events can skip the email code for true walk-up claims, and setting up products got faster: categories, photos at creation, and one-tap size lists.
Sell more than magnets
- Add ready-made products — sold as-is, with no photo upload and no print run. Great for frames, stickers, gift sets, and pre-designed magnets.
- When you sell both kinds, your store shows two tabs — "Custom magnets" and "Ready to ship" — and you can rename both in Storefront → Store settings. Your website's shop page groups them the same way.
- Ready-made items work everywhere custom ones do: your store link, your website, events, and prepaid claims.
- They skip the print queue automatically, and "Print all new" only counts items that actually need the press.
One product, every size
- Sell one product in several sizes with a per-magnet price adjustment — no more cloning a product for each press size.
- Your shelf shows one card ("From $8 · 3 sizes"); customers pick their size on the product page.
- Orders and print sheets use exactly the size each customer chose.
Faster product setup
- Every product now has a category — pick from the list or write your own under "Other". Your write-ins help us grow the list for everyone.
- Pick a sells-as-is category like Frames or Gift sets and the product switches itself to Ready-made (one click to flip it back for photo-in-frame style products).
- Add the product photo right on the create form — no more saving first.
- "Add all my sizes" fills your size list in one tap, and if you're about to duplicate a product that could just be a new size, we'll point you to the existing one.
Walk-up friendly events
- Prepaid events can skip the guest email code — guests claim their included magnets with just their name. Perfect for weddings where the host already paid.
- Per-guest limits still hold, and your event's total cap is always enforced. Toggle it per event in the prepaid settings.
Little things
- The public roadmap now collapses each card to its title, so the whole board fits on a laptop screen — click any title for the details.
- Cleaner "nothing to print" messages when a selection is all ready-made items.
Your storefront grows up
Your store is now a real website with your name on it — one Storefront tab, your colors and logo on every page, a guided setup for new accounts, and your store link now lands customers on your branded site. Customers can book you for weddings, parties, and markets from a calendar that knows your working days, and you can print your logo or an event's name directly onto the magnets. Orders got easier to find, sizes can read in inches, and reviews, repeat-customer discounts, and branded emails round it out.
Storefront & website
- Store and Website merged into one Storefront tab: Overview, Store settings, Products, Website, and Reviews.
- Your brand everywhere: colors, logo, and browser-tab icon now apply to all four website styles — and on paid plans, your page titles are yours alone.
- New website fields: header image, about photo, a gallery of your work, your story, three “what we make” blocks, intros for each page, and a footer note.
- A header photo for your shop page, so it opens with more than a logo and a headline.
- Your store link now sends shoppers to your website's shop page once your site is published. Printed QR codes and embeds keep working exactly as before.
- A step-by-step setup wizard for new accounts, pre-filled with sensible starting text you replace with your own.
Event bookings
- A “Book us for your event” form on your storefront — weddings, parties, markets, corporate.
- Set the days you work (Saturdays only, Fri–Sun, any pattern), minimum notice, days off, and one-off extra days.
- Customers pick from a calendar that only offers your available days; days you already have an event show as busy but still accept requests.
- Requests land under Orders → Quotes with one-click “Start a quote”, and you get an email for each one.
Printing
- Border text per event: print the event's name around the edge of every piece, each of the four edges set independently, without touching your product templates.
- Logo on photos: overlay your logo — or artwork an event host supplies — onto the printed photos. Choose the corner, size, and strength.
- Trim-at-cut print style, four-edge border labels with quick actions, and per-product default layouts from earlier this week.
Orders
- Every order wears a colored tag showing where it came from: an event, your storefront, a quote, or added by hand.
- Filter the board or the list to a single event or source, and jump straight from any event card to just that event's orders.
- Permanent order deletion (guarded), and order numbers now start from a random six-digit base.
Selling & marketing
- Verified customer reviews: buyers get a “How did we do?” ask, every review is a real purchase, and nothing shows until you approve it.
- Automatic welcome-back discount for returning customers — no code needed, and a typed promo code always wins.
- Customizable, branded order emails, with the option to send from your own domain on paid plans.
- A permanent Master QR code that always routes to wherever you're selling right now.
Settings
- Work in inches or millimeters — set under Settings → Account, with US accounts defaulting to inches. Existing sizes are unchanged; 50.8 mm simply reads as 2".
- Ship-to countries with worldwide address forms, business country for correct tax naming, and social links on your storefront.
