Questions makers ask us
Can I take photo magnet orders live at an event?+
Yes — that's what Live Impressions is built for. Put your event's QR code on your booth: guests scan it, pick a magnet or button, add and crop their photo on their own phone, and pay by card or at the booth. Each order lands on your live order board the moment it's placed, and one click lays the photos out on a print sheet for your press. Vendors run it at markets, fairs, and weddings, and the Free plan includes one live event a month.
Do I need Shopify or another store?+
No. Live Impressions is the storefront — for live events (guests scan your QR) and online between events (your web store link, or embedded in a site you already have). There's nothing else to subscribe to.
What printers and presses does it work with?+
Any of them. You define your magnet sizes, bleed, and sheet in Templates, and we output standard print-ready PDFs laid out to those exact dimensions — with calibration runs so your first sheet matches your press, not our assumptions.
What happens at my booth when the wifi is bad?+
Guests order over their own phone's data, so they don't need your booth's wifi, but your own phone or tablet needs a connection to see orders and print. At a venue with poor coverage, bring a hotspot. Pay-at-booth needs no card reader: take the cash and tap Mark paid.
How do payouts work?+
Card payments run through your own Stripe account (we set it up with you in Settings → Payments). Money goes straight to your bank on Stripe's standard payout schedule — on paid plans we take 0% of it.
How long before I can run my first event?+
An afternoon, not a weekend. You get six starter sizes already set up — five squares and rectangles plus a 2.25-inch button — and three suggested products to price, and a checklist on your dashboard walks you through the rest — name your shop, set your prices, create an event, print your QR. You can even place a practice order on your own storefront to see the whole thing work; we mark it as practice so it never counts in your revenue.

Can you really build my website?+
Yes — and we mean completely custom, designed and built from scratch for your business with your shop integrated, on your own domain. Not templates. It's the offer agencies charge thousands for, included with Pro.
Do my guests need an app or an account?+
Never. They scan, pick a product, add a photo, give their name and an email for the receipt, and pay. About a minute, start to finish, in the browser they already have.
